Pallet Rack Installation, Relocation & Teardown Services

Professional Installation Services

We specialize in installing all major rack systems, including:

  • Selective Pallet Rack: The industry standard for accessibility.
  • High-Density Storage: Drive-In, Push-Back, and Pallet Flow systems that require precise rail alignment.
  • Cantilever Racking: Heavy-duty systems for lumber and pipe.
  • Mezzanines & Pick Modules: Structural platforms that require strict adherence to engineering prints.

We Supply the Rack, Too

While we are happy to install materials you already own, we offer the seamless advantage of being a full-service distributor. We can source high-quality new or used pallet racking and bundle the material and labor into a single project. This eliminates miscommunication or confusion between the supplier and the installer and streamlines your experience from order to installation.

Warehouse Relocation Services

Moving a warehouse is one of the most complex logistical challenges a company can face. You have to coordinate lease exits, inventory transfers, and new facility prep—all while trying to keep customer orders flowing.

Our pallet rack relocation teams bridge the gap between your facilities. We manage the logistics of dismantling, transporting, and re-installing your system.

The “Hot Swap” Strategy

To minimize downtime, we often employ a phased relocation strategy. We can install a portion of racking (new or used) in your new facility first, allowing you to move inventory over immediately. Once the stock is moved, we dismantle the remaining racks at the old site and bring them over. This ensures you never lose total operational capacity.

Logistics and Transport

We don’t just take the racks down; we prep them for travel. Our crews securely band beams and uprights to standard pallet dimensions for efficient trucking. We ensure delicate components like wire decking and safety clips are packed to prevent loss or damage during transit.

Teardown and Asset Recovery

When it is time to exit a facility, you are often on a tight deadline to avoid lease holdover penalties. You need the space cleared, anchors ground down, and the floor swept.

Our pallet rack teardown services are designed for speed and safety. We leave the facility in “broom-clean” condition, ready for the landlord’s walkthrough.

Turning Scrap into Capital

Don’t pay to scrap usable steel. If your existing system is in good structural condition, we may offer to buy it back. We can apply a credit to your new installation project or purchase the used rack outright, helping offset the cost of your move.

Safety, Compliance, and Permitting

High-piled storage (usually over 8 or 12 feet) is legally a building structure. This means it requires a permit, seismic calculations, and fire suppression analysis.

If you install without a permit, you risk being flagged by the Fire Marshal, which can shut down your operation until the racks are torn down or retrofitted. We assist with the permitting process, working with local engineers to provide the necessary CAD layouts and seismic stamps to ensure your system is legal from day one.

Site Requirements: Getting Ready for the Crew

To ensure your project stays on budget and on schedule, the site must be prepped before our trucks arrive. Delays caused by site inaccessibility can lead to change orders.

1. Clear Floor Area

The installation zone must be free of inventory, debris, and other trades. We need room to stage materials and maneuver scissor lifts.

2. Dock Access

We need a dedicated dock door or ground-level access to unload materials and equipment.

3. Power & Lighting

Installers need access to power sources for tools and adequate lighting to work safely.

4. Dumpsters

If we are tearing down or unboxing new material, we need a designated place for trash and banding.
